§ 5.5. Disposal of property generally.

The board is hereby expressly authorized to sell real or personal property at public or private sale under such terms and conditions and for whatever consideration the board deems necessary. The board of lights and waterworks is further authorized to trade, exchange, lease, rent and otherwise contract concerning any real or personal property that it may now or hereafter own or have an interest in, and the board is expressly authorized to purchase real or personal property at public or private sale.
