§ 5.6. Acquiring property outside city.

Said board shall have the right, power and authority to acquire by purchase, gift, or contract, suitable and sufficient lands and properties outside of the city for the purpose of extending the systems beyond the corporate limits of the city and for the erection and building of plants and facilities.
