§ 6-20-050. Emergency procedures.

    General areas or locations within the water system identified as having a high potential for hazardous cross connections will be shown on a water system map at the BLW office along with the location of valves available to isolate these areas.

    B.

    In the event of an actual emergency resulting from contamination or pollution, the customer on whose premises the contamination or pollution occurred or originated shall contain the contamination or pollution by shutting valves on his premises and shall notify the city manager or Board of Lights and Water who will shut such further public valves as may be necessary or appropriate and notify the Georgia Environmental Protection Division at the twenty-four hour emergency number, 1-800-656-4113. Water samples will be obtained by the Board of Lights and Water from the contained area and delivered to:
