§ 4.16. Oath.

Every person who shall be elected as a member of such Civil Service Board shall, within 15 days after such election, qualify by taking oath that he is eligible for said office and will execute the duties of the same according to the best of his or her knowledge and ability, and such oath as may be required by the charter of the City and the laws of the State for public officials. Such oath shall be administered by any person authorized by law to administer oaths and a copy thereof filed with the clerk.
